Maintenance and Repairs Under HUD guidelines, the PCHA must keep the structure of your home in a safe, sanitary and decent condition meeting both local housing code requirements and HUD standards. We will be happy to issue a maintenance work order. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL DIRECTLY FOR REPAIRS UNLESS IT IS AN EMERGENCY AND AFTER BUSINESS HOURS. A maintenance emergency is anything considered to be a hazard to you or your family’s health and/or safety. Examples of maintenance emergencies include problems such as air conditioning or heating problems and flooding from busted water lines.
